I looked at HVAC shops serving Temecula and Murrieta this week. Not a random sample. Every one I could find that shows up when a homeowner searches "HVAC near me" or "air conditioning repair Temecula."

The Winner in the Room

Cool Air Solutions, based in Murrieta, has over 8,000 five-star Google reviews. They have been in business since 2006 and serve Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Winchester, and most of SW Riverside County.

Eight thousand reviews. Let that sink in.

They did not get there by accident. They built a system. Every completed job gets a review request. Every review gets a response. Every week, every month, for almost 20 years.

One shop, an 11-year veteran with a BBB A+ rating and a 4.9-star average, has 39 reviews. Their work is clearly excellent. Their customers clearly love them. Expect 3 to 5 responses by tonight. Not 20. That is normal. The ones who respond are the ones who matter.

2. Set a Friday morning task: review text day. Every Friday at 9am, text the week's completed jobs. Same message. Never skip. In 90 days you will have 30+ new reviews. In 6 months, 70+. That puts you ahead of 90% of the shops I looked at.

3. Reply to every review you have, starting right now. Google's algorithm weights response rate. Use the customer's first name and mention the specific work you did. Three sentences max, takes 45 seconds per reply. A 4.6-star shop that replies to every review outranks a 4.9-star shop that replies to none.

What This Means for Your Shop

Cool Air Solutions did not start with 8,000 reviews. They started with zero. What they did is treat review requests the same way they treat invoicing: every job, every time, no exceptions.
